Now that all nerdy part is gone, let’s discuss what’s all this mean. We are gonna review it with 5 different aspects.

Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 Display

For this price point, the display is not that terrible. The display could be a little brighter. The quality of the display is sharp and nice, as you can expect from an IPS display.
It has a really wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. Which means you can
use this laptop at skewed angles and the image and the text is still going to look sharp.
The best thing about its display is it’s pretty slim Nano Edge bezel. It has a 88% Body to screen Ratio.

Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 Battery

This laptop comes with a 38-watt battery. It is a 2 cell battery. Although,
Asus is claiming an all-day battery life on Vivobook, but that’s kind of an
exaggeration. We were able to get about 7 to 8 hours of battery life. In our testing, we kept the screen brightness at 75%. Even if its not all day battery life, it’s not bad.
This Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 has fast charging option. Which means, it will charge from 0% to 60% in 15 minutes.

Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 Build Quality

The laptop body is made of polycarbonate. Or Plastic in simple English. It feels pretty robust in hands with no perceptible flex.
So this laptop has a unique hinge mechanism. Asus calls this Argo Flex. Basically, what it does is when you open the screen and when the laptop is fully open it tilts the keyboard slightly by about two degrees. This is because the hinge lifts the keyboard by a few millimeters. This gives the keyboard a very nice ergonomic angle. When you type on this keyboard it will feel definitely better than a flat keyboard.
It also actually lifts the base of the laptop a few millimeters up. So, it reduces heat, because the fans on the laptop will have more space to breathe.

Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 GPU or Graphics Performance

This is a pretty good GPU for casual gaming. You will get decent frame rates. But don’t expect insane gaming performance as this is not a gaming laptop.
AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 can make your Photoshop or Lightroom or some lightweight Video Editing experience a little better.

Who is this Asus Vivobook 15 F512DA-EB51 For?

Well, this laptop is perfect for most of the people out there. You can browse the internet without any issue, do light photo or video editing, making your school or work presentation, even get away with gaming in low to mid settings.
This is a 15.6-inch laptop, which is big. It’s a bit heavy too. So, if you need to take your laptop to your school or to your work every day, you might wanna go for a 14-inch laptop.
Not to mention the other simple tasks like Watching Movies or Netflix will be more than enjoyable because of its 15.6 Inch Display.
